Mrs. Sarah LaVonne Kelley  Mrs. Sarah LaVonne Kelley, of Arab, Alabama, passed away at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice in Albertville, Alabama on Friday, January 13, 2022 at age 79.
Mrs. Kelley was born on August 26, 1943 to Kervis Christian Roden and Sara Ruby Cunningham in Scottsboro, Alabama. She was married to Ronald L. Kelley for over 55 years and had worked as a beautician and seamstress. In her free time, Mrs. Kelley enjoyed quilting, gardening and canning. She loved camping and traveling. She traveled as many times as she could to the Great Smokey Mountains, and once to Disney World. Her grandchildren were her world. She would go at every opportunity to watch them play ball and support them in all of their activities. She will be remembered as a wonderful mother and grandmother who loved and supported her family.
Mrs. Kelley leaves cherished memories behind for her husband; Ronald L. Kelley, son; Keith Kelley and his wife Tonya, mother-in-law; Pauline T. Kelley, grandchildren; Ethan, Isaac, and Asher Kelley, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Mrs. Kelley is preceded in death by her parents; Kervis and Sara Roden, and brother; Kervis Carlton Roden.
A visitation with the family is scheduled for Tuesday, January 17, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel. Services will follow at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Brother Jerry Burgett and Brother Kenneth Smith, at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at New Canaan Cemetery
