Sarah Katherine “Chub” Ashby, age 77, passed away Friday, Aug. 5, 2016. She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her children, Kathy Bretherick (David), Carl Hines (Barbara), and Donnie Hines (Tammie); sister, Virginia Gilchrist; brother, Harlon Weeks; several half brothers and sisters; grandchildren, Victoria Bretherick, David (Crystal), Tyler (Kayla), B.J., and Robyn Hines, and Amanda Bretherick Maurer; and great-grandchildren, Hunter, Madison, and Tate Hines and Addison Maurer.
The visitation will be today at Spry-Williams Funeral Home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the funeral to follow in the chapel at 1 p.m. with Brother William Brewer officiating. Burial will be at Rogers Chapel Cemetery.
