sarahSarah Joy Dodson, 51, died March 17, 2016, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. Sarah enjoyed living life to its fullest and spending time with her grandchildren. Visitation will begin on Sunday, March 20, at the Spirit and Truth Christian Fellowship Church and continue there until service time. Services are scheduled for 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22, officiated by Bro. Rodney Whittemore. Internment will be at Harmony Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers include Heath Johnson, Chris Johnson, Ricky Joe Horne, Jonathan Horne, Tom Hamm, and Billy Don Hamm. Her nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers. Cutshall Funeral Home of Glen, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by two daughters, Amanda Heavener (Ben Twitty) of Burnsville, MS and Clara Heavener Davis (Tyler) of Corinth; two sons, Lance Heavener, Jr. of Burnsville and Doug Heavener (Tana) of Corinth, MS; two sisters, Jo Ann Grimes and Donna Mock, both of Iuka; two brothers, Randy Walker (Lisa) of Burnsville and Harold Dodson (Laurie) of Iuka; and six grandchildren: Taylor Ann Twitty, Sara Beth Twitty, Charlee Twitty, Reed Heavener, Logan Davis, and Ella Davis. She was preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie Horne; her father, Bill Dodson; her sister, Teresa Garvin; and her brother, Roger Walker.
