 Sarah Jeanette Pickens of Stantonville, TennesseeSarah Jeanette Pickens was born May 21, 1948 in Corinth, MS the daughter of the late George E. and Doris J. Monroe Miller.

She was united in marriage to T L. Pickens on November 26, 1965.

Mrs. Pickens worked for the McNairy County Board of Education in the cafeteria. She loved her family especially the grandchildren. She enjoyed her flowers and could grow the most beautiful ferns. She was a member of the Stantonville Church of Christ.

Mrs. Pickens departed this life on April 18, 2019 in Stantonville, Tennessee at the age of 70 Years, 10 Months, 28 Days. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, T L. Pickens of Stantonville, TN; a daughter, Sylene Littlejohn and husband Kenny of Guys, TN; a son, Steve Pickens and wife Lynne of Selmer, TN; two sisters, Mary Churchwell and husband Gary of Fort Worth, TX, Kathy Shapiro of Corinth, MS; six grandchildren, April Pickens, Megan Sagely and husband Shane, Hunter Sagely-Patterson (Dylan), Hannah Pickens, Travis Pickens, Grace Pickens; three great grandchildren, Josie Martin, Juniper Pickens, Lorelei Johnson; and a host of nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pickens was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Miller.
