Jane Peden Fisher, 67 of Cherokee, died Tuesday, September 17, 2013. Visitation will be Thursday, September 19, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home in Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be Friday, September 20, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel in Tuscumbia with burial following in Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Russellville (Mountain Star area).
Mrs. Fisher was a native of Colbert County and a member of the Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Paul and Grace Ledlow Peden; sister, Mary Lee Peden Kilgore, Bessie Mae Peden Edwards and Jewel Dean Peden Bass; and brothers, Billy Peden, Bobby Peden, Junior Peden and Willard Peden.
Mrs. Fisher is survived by her husband, George “Pete” Fisher, Jr.; son, Christopher Fisher and wife, Kim of Cherokee; daughters, Barbara Fisher Bange and husband Sam of Tuscumbia and Sabrina Fisher Handley and husband, Allen of Cherokee; brothers, Jessie Roy Peden and Leonard Peden; sisters, Lena Hubbard and Louise Brumley; grandchildren, Ashley, Brittney, Heather, Bridget, Allisha, Jake and Randi; great grandchildren, Michael, Brooklynn, Sway, Gracie and Brantley.
Pallbearers are Johnny Peden, John Peden, Frankie Peden, Michael Peden, Kenneth Peden and Wayne Peden.
Honorary pallbearers are Zack Poss and Scott Harrison.
