Sarah Jacqueline Wilson Lucas, 75, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born October 7, 1948 to the late James Gordy Wilson and the late Eva Dell Ledbetter Wilson. She loved her precious daughter, Susan Denise. She loved to read her Bible, work for the unborn, and work at True Life Church standing for her Lord Jesus Christ. She enjoyed her flower garden, working variety puzzles, watching squirrels, and sunsets with Jimmie.
Services will be 2:00 pm on Friday November 3, 2023 at True Life Church, 1 Lucas Rd., Tremont, MS 38876. Jimmie Lucas and Mark McDonald to officiate. Visitation begins at 6:00 pm Thursday night November 2, 2023, at True Life Church. Burial at Shady Valley Cemetery. Senter Funeral Directors has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Jimmie Lucas of Vina, AL; brothers: John A. (Sandra) Wilson of Tremont, Gerald Lee (Jimmie Lou) Wilson of Florence, AL, Lanny Gordon (Becky) Wilson of Tupelo; sisters: Judy Rogers of Tremont, Shirley Whitfield of Red Bay, AL, Janice (Mike) Shepherd of Bartlett, TN; several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Susan Denise Lucas; brothers: James Robert Wilson and Charles Ross Wilson; sisters: Helen Stone and Brenda Joyce Wilson; brothers-in-law, Charles Stone, John Whitfield.
