Sarah Ellen Davis, age 83 of Jackson, Georgia formerly of Winchester, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022 at her daughter’s residence surrounded by her family. She was born October 29, 1938 in Winchester to the late John and Beulah (Steele) Fulmer. Sarah retired from the City of Forest Park, GA where she was employed as the Chief Financial Officer. After her retirement she enjoyed playing board games, watching TV and Movies with her family. Sarah was an avid reader and loved to cook wonderful meals for her family. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Ruth Jenelle Baker-Swanson, Barbara Sells, Tony Fulmer and Glen Fulmer. She is survived her children, Lori Jones, Diane (Wayne) Clayton, John Wesley “Buddy” Davis Jr, and Doug Davis; grandchildren, Salina Jones, Shanna Jones, Christopher Harmening, and Sarah Ann Davis; great- grandchildren, Monique Harmening, Alexis Bailey-Garrison, Tyler Jones, Hayden Elrod, and Rusty Jones; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022 from 4pm-8pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 12 pm in the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Reverend Joe Davis will be officiating.
