Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Worthey age 90 of Capshaw, AL. passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Worthey was born February 19, 1927 in Lincoln County, TN to Comer Cole and Lula Harbin Cole.
Graveside services will be Friday, January 5, 2018 2:00 p.m., at Athens City Cemetery with Randy Evers officiating. Visitation will be Friday, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Worthey; parents, Comer and Lula Cole; infant daughter; great-grandson, Clayton Scott Worthey.
Mrs. Worthy was a member of Capshaw Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Don Worthey and wife, Beth; grandsons, Brandon Worthey and Will Worthey and wife, Samantha; great-grandchildren, Sofia, Myles and Cole Worthey.
She was a member of Capshaw Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Worthey, Will Worthey, Tommy Gooch and Ken Scroggin,
Stanley Menefee and Stan Menefee.
