The funeral service for Sarah Elizabeth Ann Oakes will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday, June 24, 2024. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 PM with all services at Peck Funeral Home with Brother Michael Gunter officiating. Peck Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Mrs. Oakes passed away Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born to Cleo and Virgie Mae Borden Watson on January 19, 1968 in Morgan County, Alabama. She loved to play Candy Crush on her phone, shopping, fishing but loved most spending her time with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Walter Thaddeus Oakes
