Sara Renate Ridings, age 77 of Greenbrier, TN passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at Skyline Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 21, 2024 at 1pm in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home with Brother Jack Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 10am to till time of service at 1pm.
Mrs. Ridings was born November 5, 1946 in Nashville, TN to the late Paul and Sara Crutcher McConnell. She worked in accounting for the State of Tennessee and was a member of Greenridge Church of Christ. She loved being with her family, working with numbers, flowers, gardening and music.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Ridings was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Carter Ridings; and sisters, Belinda Williams and Tammy Salon.
Mrs. Ridings is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Kim Ridings; daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Joe Jarman; 2 grandchildren, Dylan Ridings and Isaiah Bernal; and 1 great grandchild, Easton Cunningham.
Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Greenbrier is in charge of these arrangements.
