Sara Oliver Joiner, 63, of Rogersville passed away Saturday, May 27th, 2017 at ECM Hospital.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 30th from 6 – 8 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow in Old Liberty Cemetery, Town Creek.
Sara was preceded in death by her parents, Tennis & Mable Naomi Oliver; brothers, Ollie, Dan and Michael. She is survived by her husband, Marvin Joiner; son, Rocco (Kim) Sarley; grandchildren, Trevor & Olivia Sarley; step-children, Sherry Joiner and Tammy (Bobby) Faulkner; step-grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew and Jacob Joiner, Channing Porter, Trenton, Dalton and Kriston Faulkner; great granddaughter, Ember Jane Joiner; sisters, Shelby Parker, Stella (Buddy) Allen, Barbara Vandiver and Elizabeth Green; brothers, Nate Oliver, Wayne (Wanda) Oliver and Larry (Glenda) Oliver; numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Trevor’s Warriors against Nasopharyngeal Cancer Facebook page for expenses for upcoming treatment for Sara’s grandson, Trevor.
