Funeral services for Sandy Mealer Sircher, age 66, will be held at 2 pm Saturday, May 8, 2021 at the Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Old Gibson Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12 noon until service time on Saturday. All appropriate social distancing protocols with face masks required will be observed as recommended by the CDC and the State of Tennessee.
Mrs. Sircher passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at her home in Trenton, TN.
Mrs. Sircher was born in Humboldt, TN on December 30, 1954. She was a lifelong resident of Brazil, TN. She graduated from Peabody High School in Trenton, TN and received her B. S. Degree from Freed-Hardeman University in 1976. She had a long career as a teacher in Dyer County. After her retirement from teaching, she worked for Answering Advantage.
Mrs. Sircher was a devoted wife to Mike Sircher. She loved spending time with her family as well as her church family at the Dyer Church of Christ. She loved her dogs and cats, as well as reading, and gardening.
Mrs. Sircher is preceded in death by her husband, Mike Sircher; and parents, Billie and Rebecca Mealer.
Mrs. Sircher is survived by two stepchildren, Kelly Totty and Kim Winston; two siblings, Patti Chapman and husband Bobby, and David Mealer and wife Susan; six step grandchildren, Logan, Abby, and Ayden Winston, Kody and Jessica Totty, and Kayla McWherter; a step great grandchild, Stella McWherter; as well as five nieces and nephews, Joshua Chapman and wife Lauren, Jessica Chapman and husband Ben Jones, Ian Chapman and wife Susana, Mitch Mealer, and Delaney Mealer; and a great niece, Asa Jones.
