Sandy Collier, 64, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2015, at the Methodist Hospital in Germantown. She was born February 12, 1950 to the late John Gilmore and the late Geraldine Plunkett Gilmore. She was retired from Mantachie High School after 30 years of service as a teacher assistant. She was a member of Mantachie United Methodist.
Services will be 2:00 pm on Monday January 19, 2015 at Senter Funeral Home. Bro. Ronnie Goodwin will be officiating and burial will be in the Itawamba Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin on Monday at 11:00 am.
She is survived by her husband, Terry Collier of Mantachie; Daughters: Sherry (Shane) Stephens of Golden, Terri Lynn (Todd) Herring of Mantachie, Kerri (Scott) Collier of Mantachie, and Andrea Collier (Steven) Thomas of Saltillo. Granddaughters: Lauren Collier and Steviana Thomas, Grandsons: Ivan Collier, Paden Collier, Pat Gilley, Christian Thomas, Trevor Herring, Chad Stephens, Cole Stephens, and Cade Stephens, Sister, Linda (James) Mitchell of Fulton.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Pallbearers will be John Tigner, A.J. Freeman, Jared White, John Prochaska, Chuck Wood, Matt Fennell, Chris Mitchell, Jonathan Mitchell, Jason Mitchell.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the M.H.S. Staff and Mantachie United Methodist Choir.
