Sandra Shields Holder, 73, of Huntsville, passed away Monday. Sandra was born in Mobile, AL, and attended Snead State Jr. College in Boaz, AL for two years. She lived most of her life in Guntersville and Huntsville, AL. Sandra was married to Jimmy Holder for 41 years, and loved to travel and spend time with her family. She did not lose her five year battle with cancer, she lived graciously and courageously with it until the very end. She won the battle in many ways by inspiring others with her courage. She was a wonderful role model to those who knew and loved her.
Survivors include husband, Jimmy Holder; son, C. Todd Holder (Ashley), daughter, Kimberly Koppel (Elliott); grandchildren, Drake, Savannah, Colt, Owen and Joshua; and brother, Terry Shields (Donna).
