Sandra Rae Parrish Burns, 80, of Florence, passed away June 29, 2023. Visitation will be Saturday, July 8, 2023 from 12-2 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Mark Mayfield officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Burns was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Eugene Burns, Sr.; mother, Ida Belle Parrish; and her dads, James B. Parrish and Raymond McKinney.
She is survived by her son, Joseph “Jay” Burns, Jr. (Rachel Lee) of Muscle Shoals; daughters, Julie Burns Solley of Killen, and Leslie Burns Beasley (Juan Gonzales) of Florence; and grandchildren, Kalee Beasley, Sydney Solley, Allie Solley, and Christian Gonzales.
Pallbearers will be Larry Ricketts, Blair Riedel, Parrish Riedel, Chuck Burns, and Keith Burns.
Carl Parker will serve as honorary pallbearer.
