Sandra Kay MitchellnSandra Mitchell was born March 9, 1950 in Shelby County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late William H. Wagner and Christine Smythe Wagner, who survives. She was united in marriage to Lonnie Mitchell, who survives.

Mrs. Mitchell lived in Hardin County since 2000 and was of the Baptist Belief. She was a homemaker who raised miniature pinchers and other types of dogs. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, canning and fishing.

Mrs. Mitchell departed this life June 29, 2014 at the Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee, at the age of 64 years, 3 months and 20 days.

In addition to her husband Lonnie Mitchell of Saltillo, Tennessee and her mother, Christine Wagner of Memphis Tennessee, she is survived by three children, Steve Mitchell of Scotts Hill, Tennessee, Sandi Ray of Lexington, Tennessee and Stephanie Singleton, and husband Rodney, of Middleburg, Tennessee; six grandchildren, Jennifer Williams, Tyler Bassett, Tiffany Mitchell, Amber Mitchell, Parris Odle and Lana Singleton; two great-grandchildren, Jazman Pendleton and Natlie Staggs; one brother, William C. Wagner and his wife, Francis of Memphis, Tennessee; three nieces, one nephew, five great-nieces and three great-nephews.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother, Charles D. Wagner and one sister, Gloria J. Crider.
