Sandra Marie Keesee, 69, of Jasper, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at Walker Baptist Medical Center. Family will receive friends Sunday, December 31, 2023, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Service will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Boldo Cemetery. J.D. Dickerson will officiate.

She was born on June 23, 1954, in Boldo and went to Curry High School. She attended college at Memphis state now known as University of Memphis. She moved to Vicksburg, MS in 1979. She had a thirty year career as a licensed nuclear operator at Grand Gulf Nuclear Station. She retired in 2009 and returned to Curry, AL to spend her retirement years on Smith Lake. She loved to quilt, spend time with family on the lake, and to travel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Virginia and W.A. Myhand Jr.; brother, Ronald M. Myhand; sister, Sharon Myhand; grandparents, Chester and Ruby Grace, and W.A. Sr. and Arizona Myhand; granddaughter, Whitney Arrington; in laws, Ambrus and Ruth Keesee.

She is survived by her husband, William P. Keesee; children, Chris Rigsby, Tracy Smithey (Anthony), Deborah Esposito (John), Amy Arrington, and Jason Keesee; grandchildren, Kyle Rigsby, Blake Rigsby, Brooke Rigsby, Tyler Gardner, Tanner Gardner, Ozzy Bonds, Brianna Esposito, Chance Esposito, Kaleb Esposito, Jacob Smithey (Shelby), Jeremy Smithey (Shelby), and Justin Smithey (Julissa); siblings, Randy Myhand (Glenda), Sherri Myhand, and Susan Bennett (Randall); and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Gardner, Tanner Gardner, Kyle Rigsby, Blake Rigsby, Jaylen Bonds, and Jeremy Smithey.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Myhand and Dustin Myhand.
