Sandra Marie Aycock Barnes, age 64, passed away Monday, April 13, 2015. Visitation will be today from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Services will be Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at 11 a.m. in the Colbert Memorial Chapel, with burial to follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Brother Ted Vafeas will be officiating. She was a member of Bridgeway Baptist Church.
Mrs. Barnes was preceded in death by parents, Roy and ILa Aycock, husband, Ronald Barnes, and infant sister, Karen Sue Aycock.
Survivors are brothers, Donnie Aycock (Gina), of Florence, Alabama; nieces, Amy Keeton (Richard) and Ann Aycock; nephews, Jeff Aycock (Tonya), Adam Aycock, Kevin Ashley (Amy), and Dustin Hargett (Kellie); and special friend and companion, Bob Arnold.
Pallbearers will be Eric Aycock, Kevin Ashley, Dustin Hargett, Adam Aycock, Kaleb Dover, and Alex Aycock.
