Sandra Lynn Jones, age 65 of Winchester, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. A native of Franklin County, she was born on December 5, 1958. Before her retirement, she had been employed at Lanier Clothing and as a supervisor for auto-manufacturing companies M-TEK, Tepro, before ending her work career at Great Lakes Cheese. The life of any party, she enjoyed having a good time, listening to The Borderline Band, dancing, and playing cards. She also enjoyed shopping and anything chocolate…she made the best chocolate oatmeal cookies and candy. Christmas was her favorite time of year, and she always made sure to spread her joy throughout the season, especially to her grandbabies. Her kind heart will be missed by all who loved her. Family and friends know she is with the Lord, whom she said always took care of her and would continue once she had gone home to join Him. She was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Heis Stills; and sister, Cecile Renee Stills Flynn. Sandy is survived by her daughter, Stefanie Jones (Jamie) Solomon; grandchildren, Teisa Solomon, River Solomon; mother, Laura Gayle Stills; sisters, Shirley Ray, and Linda Stills; nieces and nephews, Rebecca Flynn, Joseph Flynn, Nikki Lockhart, Samantha (Scott) McClanahan, and Adam Barnes; great-nieces and great-nephews, Angel, Lilly, Karson, Logan, Isabella, Cooper, and Levi; best friend, Donna Sutherland; and many more loving friends and family.
