Sandra Lee Doyle, age 69, died on Friday, January 8, 2016 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
A native of Bay City, MI, Sandra was born on June 20, 1946, the daughter of the late John H. and Rose Maxson Rodgers. She was a licensed beautician for over twenty-five years owning and operating Lee’s Beauty Salon. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, where she had held various leadership positions. She was a former Girl Scout leader and enjoyed doing ceramics, cooking and caring for her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of forty-eight years, Elmer David Doyle of Medina, TN; a daughter, Laura McCoy and husband Mike of Medina, TN; two sons, Michael Shane Doyle of Sacramento, CA and David Lee Doyle of Medina, TN; three brothers, John H. Rodgers III of Johnson City, TN, Terry Rodgers of Cleveland, TN and Raymond Rodgers of Columbus, MS and seven grandchildren, Stephanie Doyle, Maxson Doyle, Carianna Doyle, David Lee Doyle, Jr. Hunter Doyle, Emilee McCoy and Anna McCoy.
SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Concordia Lutheran Church with Pastor Gregory Truwe officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 11, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Arrington Funeral Directors.
