Sandra Lavon White, 75, Sheffield, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. Visitation will be Saturday, February 22, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Florence Ward. The funeral will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the church with President Eric Stevens presiding. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield.
Sandra was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Russellville Ward. She was a talented craftsperson, enjoying quilting, knitting, and sewing baby blankets. She was preceded in death by her husband, R.T. White; daughter, Ebba Shavon White; sisters, Virginia Berryman, Shirley Ann Moore, and Inez Zills; brothers, Herbert Preston and Arnold L. Preston; and grandchildren, Rachel L. White and Benjamin T. White.
Sandra is survived by her children, Robin T. White, Jonathan P. White (Sophie), and Rebecca W. Caldwell; siblings, Patricia Preston, Johnny Preston, and David Preston; grandchildren, John Meares (Haley), Timothy Meares (Anna), Justin Caldwell (Amber), Jason Caldwell (Stephanie), Jacob White, Michelle K. Hampton (Eric), Julie A. Lowery (Billy), Sydnay D. White, Lindsay Rogers (Justin), Daniel C. White (Julia), Christa D. Gonzales (Ron), Tiari J. White, Brianna E. Vance (Sam), Amanda G. White, Elizabeth R. White, Lillian S. White, and Jonathan P. White, Jr.; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be John Meares, Tim Meares, Justin Caldwell, Jason Caldwell, Jacob White, and J. Patrick White. Daniel White will serve as honorary pallbearer.
