Sandra Kay Hunt of Goodspring, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, March 28th, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Pulaski, Tennessee on April 24th, 1952 and was 71 years old.
Sandra married the love of her life Larry on October 22nd, 1983 and cherished their adventures together. Sandra was a passionate wife, mother, Meme, sister, and friend. She could be seen sitting on her porch admiring her roses and waving at the many that passed.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 30th, 2024 from 10:00am to 1:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm Saturday, March 30th, 2024, in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home with Bro. James Nave and Bro. Mark Johnson officiating.
The burial will take place in the Shores Cemetery in Goodspring, Tennessee.
Sandra was preceded in death by her father William Daniel Hood along with her brother Dennis Ray Hood.

Son, Chris (Tammy) Thorne of Goodspring, Tennessee.
Son, Corey (Jennifer) Thorne of Pulaski, Tennessee.
Grandson, Seth (Autumn) Thorne of Birmingham, Alabama.
Grandson, Caleb (Emily) Thorne of Harvest, Alabama.
Grandchildren, Lexi, Cru, And Adyson Thorne of Pulaski, Tennessee.
Mother, Dorothy Hood of Goodspring, Tennessee.
Sister, Linda (Stevie) Stafford of Goodspring, Tennessee.
Brother, Neil (Cathy) Hood of Goodspring, Tennessee.
Sister, Gail (Joe) Shelton of Goodspring, Tennessee.
Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.
