Sandra Joyce Croft Sandra Joyce Evers Croft, devoted wife and mother passed away Saturday September 7th , 2024
surrounded by her family, leaving a void her family cannot fill.
She was born in Dekalb County in 1951 to Gordie and Lorena Evers. She was the youngest
of the six Evers girls. In 1969, Sandra married her high school sweetheart Tom Croft and
was a loving wife for 55 years. She was also the proud mother of two sons Jack Croft and
Wes Croft. Sandra’s most cherished title was that of Mimi to her six grandchildren whom
she loved dearly. Sandra had a passion for life. She loved to cook for friends and family, and
enjoyed spending time in her flower beds.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Gordie and Lorena Evers, sisters Iva Jean
Hornsby and Charlotte Masters. She is survived by her husband Tom Croft, son Jack Croft
(wife Katina), son Wes Croft, and grandchildren Jackson Croft, Cassie Croft, Hudson Croft,
Campbell Croft, Crimson Croft, and Kingston Croft. The love and joy that she brought into
our lives will never be forgotten.
A memorial service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Arab Wesleyan Church. Family, friends and guest will gather for a visitation time from 1:00 until service begins at 2:00. Randy Evers and Nicky James will be officiating.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Arab Wesleyan Church.
