Sandra Jean Lee, age 58, a resident of Leoma, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at her residence.

 

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at 2PM at Freemon Cemetery in Leoma. Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia is assisting the family with arrangements.

 

Born on March 9, 1962 in Florence, Alabama, Sandra was the daughter of the late Albert J. Lee and the late Wilodean Joyce Dooley Lee. A graduate of Muscle Scholars High School; she worked over twenty-five years at Dura Automotive, previously known as Excel. A very sweet, kind and understanding person, Sandra enjoyed keeping herself busy and being outdoors whether that was gardening or tending to her flowers, in her younger years, before she got sick, she loved fishing. Sandra was content with staying home and always commented, “The world is right outside my window.”

 

She is survived by her sister, Melissa Lee Brown of Leoma; nephews: Johnathan Lee (Abby) Brown, Matthew Lee Hester; niece, Victoria Opal Brown; great nephews: Eli Brown, Gabriel Brown, Connor Hester; and great niece, Blair Brown.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Vickie Kaye Lee Hester.
