Sandra Jackson Fort Brand, 77, of Nettleton, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2022. She was born January 7, 1945 to Mildred Addie Lee and Hicks Boynton Fort. Her greatest interest after the Lord was her family. She absolutely loved her family and enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an active member of Good Hope M.B. Church until her health failed. She was a Sunday school teacher and VBS teacher.
A celebration of life will be at 12:00 pm Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Good Hope M.B. Church with Pastor Lee Shumpert and Pastor Lee Brand Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 7:00pm Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Lee Memorial Funeral Home. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
She is survived by her husband, Lee E. Brand, Sr.; daughter, Cathy Jackson (Dee Wildman); sons, Robert Jackson (Melissa) and Lee Brand, Jr. (Tiffany); eleven grandchildren, Caleb Payne, Cody Jackson, Kelly Payne, Tyler Jackson (Jessica), Kyle Jackson (Brooke), Casey Payne, Trè Brand, Megan Brand, Avery Brand, Micah Brand, and Matthew Brand; ten great grandchildren, Isaiah Payne, Lexi Jernigan, Leah Hill, Cameron Payne, Jaylyn Hill, Peyton Robbins, Chip Jackson, Madelynn Jackson, Maylee Jackson, and Eli Pugh; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father and mother; one brother, Renè Fort; two sisters, Rena Fort and Carol Fort; and one son, René Jackson.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and friends. Honorary Pallbearers will be her great grandsons.
