Sandra Gale Riley Martin, 78, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024, at Countrywood Manor Assisted Living in Mantachie. She was born November 27, 1945, to William Joseph and Archie Elaine Walton Riley. She was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church for over 60 years, where she taught Sunday School, and a big part of the puppet ministry. She especially loved the young people there and she dedicated her time, heart and soul to the church she loved soo much. She was an accomplished seamstress, and was a great wife, mother, and grandmother.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday, November 11, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Jackie Gray and Bro. Joseph Bain officiating. Burial will be in the Keyes Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, William Harold Martin; two sons, Anthony Bryan Martin (Sonya) of Fulton and Tracy Alan Martin (Angie) of Lookout Mountain, TN; one daughter, Cindy Leigh Hester (Greg) of Tupelo; five grandchildren, Tyler Martin (Claire), Chelsea Ramey (Tyler), Alan Sheffield (Vanessa), Cody Sheffield, and Chance Sheffield; seven great grandchildren, Piper Martin, Grayson Martin, Amberlee Ramey, Dakota Sheffield, Ziva Sheffield, Ella Jane Sheffield, and Oliver Sheffield.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Archie Riley; and her parents.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Martin, Tyler Ramey, Cody Sheffield, Alan Sheffield, Chance Sheffield, and Dakota Sheffield.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Gray and Kevin Riley.
Visitation will be Monday from 12:30 until service time at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home.
