Sandra Gail Foreman Morris Sandra Gail Foreman Morris, 85, of Tuscumbia, Alabama, departed this life the evening of September 2, 2024, surrounded by her family whom she loved dearly. Mother was born December 1, 1938, in Gadsden, Alabama, to the late Louie and Willie Thompson Foreman. She is also preceded in death by her husband of sixty-four years, Neil Morris; and siblings, Jeannine Calvert, Jerome Foreman, and Kenneth Foreman.

Sandra is survived by her children, Gary Morris (Susan), Paul Morris, Susan Morris Maupin (Tim), and Ray Morris (Alisa); her loving grandchildren, Brooke (Chase), Trace, Logan, Andrew, Elliott, Isaiah, and Olivia Anne; her sister, Joan Agee, and several nieces and nephews across the country; and her farm sidekick, Bo.

Her family moved from Gadsden to Sheffield in 1942. She graduated from Sheffield High School and three days later married Neil Morris on June 8, 1956. She and Neil purchased and made their home on seventy acres just south of Tuscumbia. They enjoyed traveling throughout the United States, visiting all fifty states as well as Canada and Mexico. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, and grandma/memaw who never met a stranger. Mother was a full-time homemaker who loved spending time with family and friends. Some of her many talents included baking, quilting, puzzles, and acapella singing. She also enjoyed traveling back to Gadsden, researching her family genealogy and was an active member of the Cox Blvd. Church of Christ for many years.

Visitation for Sandra will be Saturday, September 7, 2024, from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. at Cox Blvd. Church of Christ with her memorial following with Wade Hunt and James Paul Nobles officiating. Her burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield, with grandsons serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be her granddaughters.

The family would like to thank the wonderful nurses at Helen Keller ICU and Aveanna Hospice for their excellent care. A very special thank you to Pam Inman, Kristi Sockwell, Tom Gosser, and Ann Dunaway for their extra time spent with mother.
