Sandra Ellen Miller, 69, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born June 28, 1954, to W.C. and Ila Miller. She owned Red Bay Carpets in Red Bay, AL, and later worked for the U.S. Postal Service before retiring. She was a member of First Apostolic Church in Jumpertown. She enjoyed reading the Bible, playing the piano and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved being with her family, and church families.
A Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 18, 2023, at First Apostolic Church in Jumpertown with Bro. Charles Durham, Bro. Carey Miller and Bro. Jerry Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Crossroads Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the church.
She is survived by one son, Chad Allen (Andrea); two daughters, Alycia Brown (Tony) and Shawna Thompson (Chris); two brothers, Sammy Miller (Cathy) and Windell Miller (Sherry); one sister, Melissa Jackson (Mark); seven grandchildren, Tyler Brooks (Destiny), Tayler Moore (Savanna), Tanner Allen, Kirkland Moore (Jazz), Colin Allen and Brody Maxx Moore; four great-grandchildren, Jaxson, Bowen, Casen and Mailee; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Dennis Miller and Lennis Miller; one sister, Shelia Miller; and one niece, Memory Miller.
Pallbearers are her grandsons.
