Sandra Daniel Eilders

Sandra Daniel Eilders passed away on at University Medical Center in Jackson, MS following a nearly three year battle with bladder cancer. She had a deep love for her family and valued spending time with them. She enjoyed running, doing puzzles and looking up recipes for other people to prepare. She loved to watch college football and baseball and had love/hate relationship with the Chicago Cubs.

Sandra grew up in Starkville and attended Starkville Academy, graduating in 1978. She moved to Jackson and obtained an associate’s degree in computer science at Hinds Community College in Raymond, Mississippi.

Sandra was preceded in death by her dad, Willie Daniel, and her In-Laws William and Ruth Ann Eilders.

She is survived by her Husband, Jeff Eilders, Daughter, Hope VanEtten (Jesse) and her Beloved Granddaughter Baylee VanEtten, and Son Steven Eilders. She is also survived by her Mother Ruth Daniel, Brother Kent Daniel (Evalin), Brother Richard Daniel, and Brother-in-Law Doug Eilders.

She is survived by her nephew Sam Daniel (Allyson) and their children Payton, Nash, and Berkley, Nieces Bay Daniel (Fiancé Brodie Orr), Kathryn Eilders and her daughter Anna Eilders, Hannah Nenninger (Corey) and their sons Camdyn, Connor and Colson.

She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, April 4, 2023 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS, with the funeral service immediately following. Burial will be in Memorial Garden Park in Starkville.
