Mrs. Sandra Brown FossettSandra Brown Fossett, 61, of Guntersville, Alabama passed away peacefully and gained her eternal reward and healed body on Thursday, August 1, 2024.
She was born on August 30, 1962, to parents Haden and Marion Brown. Sandra and her high school sweetheart, Keith, got married at the age of 18 and just celebrated their 43rd anniversary. She cherished Keith and all the memories they had together. Together they had three beautiful daughters who she loved immeasurably. Her three girls were her world. Sandra was a dedicated wife, mother, daughter, sister, Mimi, and much more. Sandra was a devoted government employee who just retired from the Space and Missile Defense Command after working for more than twenty years.
She was a follower of Christ in all aspects of her life. She enjoyed nothing more spending time with her family, especially her four grandsons. Sandra will be remembered as a loving, kind and compassionate woman. There are no amount of words to describe what she meant to so many of us.
Sandra is survived by husband, Keith; daughters, Rachel Townson (Hunter), Nikki Winkles (Tyler), and Katie Daniel (Clayton), and her four grandsons, Griffin, Riggs, Hudson, and Campbell. She also leaves behind her mother, Marion Brown, brother, Tim (Gina), two sisters, Tena and Lisa, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Haden Brown.
For all of those that had the privilege of knowing her, know without a doubt she heard the words
“Well done, my good and faithful servant” when she got called home.
Funeral Service will be Sunday, August 4, 2024, at 2:00p.m. at Carr Funeral Home in Guntersville. Visitation will be from 1:00p.m up until time of service. She will be laid to rest at First Baptist Church Cemetery in Union Grove. Serving as pallbearers are Brandon Brown, Tyler Martin, Donovan Roby, Tyler Winkles, Clayton Daniel, and Hunter Townson.
