Sandra Ann Thrower, 62, of Talladega,AL passed away on January 31,2024. Born on March 22,1961 in Chicago, Illinois.
Sandra, also known as Sandy, was familiar face to many as she worked for years as a cashier. Her dedication and no non-sense attitude earned her respect of those she served. Prior to her career as a cashier, she worked as a bartender.
She had a vibrant personality. She loved spending time with her family and was a frequent visitor to the casino, where she enjoyed trying her luck.
Sandra survived by her mother, Wreatha Gooden. Sister Melissa and brother James.
She also leaves behind her 3 daughters Jennifer Thrower, Carrie Turner (Kelvin) Amy Thrower (Dallas), as well as a special son Brandon Jones.
She will be dearly missed by her 6 grandchildren, Joshua Thrower, Nicholas Thrower, Jalen Turner, Madison Cotton,Martina Cotton and Allen Thrower.
Sandra was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alvin Thrower. Her father James William, and her grandparents Ruben and Mildred Dennis.
Sandra brought joy and laughter into the lives of those around her. Her memory will be forever cherished.
