Mrs. Sandra Ann Cunningham Dargin Sandra Ann Cunningham Dargin, one of six children, was born December 23, 1957, in Ashland, Alabama born to the late Jack Cunningham Jr. Three siblings preceded her in death: Jarome Cunningham, Sue Cunningham, and Michael Cunningham. She moved to Harvest, Alabama in 2001; united with the New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, and lived there peacefully until she passed in Huntsville Hospital on June 15, 2023.

She was educated at Ashland high school and went on to receive her Bachelor of Science in Management of Human Resources from Faulkner University and her Master of Science in Logistics Management from Florida Institute of Technology.

Ms. Cunningham was an accomplished woman in many areas. She was a member of the United States Army where she advanced to the rank of Sergeant and went on to successfully lead a group of soldiers during her time in service. After she served her country in the United States Army, she went on to serve her country again by working for the government sector with a combined number of 45 years of service. Some of her hobbies included fishing, gardening, cooking, and taking care of her family.

She leaves to cherish her memory: Family: Nellie B. Buchanan, Rita Cunningham, Aerial Swain, Daniel Cunningham, Dwjuan Cunningham, King Cunningham, Jaelah Cunningham, Dylan Jones, Dakota Jones, Swayla Buchanan, Naima Buchanan, Larry Buchanan, Larry Joe Buchanan, Jayvontae Buchanana, Christoffer Buchanan, Zarayah Buchanan, Corey Buchanan, Monica Buchanan, Robert Swain, Jane Zackery, Marcus Kirsey, Daldrickus Kirsey, Teven Heath, Grady Zackery, Rebecca Watts and Bettye Powell.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 23, 2023, at the New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church (2562 Bob Wade Lane, Harvest, AL 35749) with Pastor Ricky Sykes officiating. Interment will be in the Meadowlawn Garden of Peace. Mrs. Dargin will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.

The Dargin family will receive guests from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Thursday, June 22, 2023, at the Royal Chapel of Memories.

Public viewing will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Thursday, June 22, 2023, and 8:30 until 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 23, 2023, at the Royal Funeral Home.
