Sandra A. Booth, 87, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born April 4, 1936 to the late Howard McKinney and the late Viva Andrews Johnson WI. She worked in custodial services at ICC for many years. Sandra enjoyed hunting, gardening, and taking care of her grandson Payton, whom she raised and she always loved when her family would come visit.
Services will be at 1 pm on Friday November 24, 2023 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Jarrell officiating. Burial will be in Walker Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11am – 1pm on Friday November 24 at Senter Funeral Home.
Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey Knutson of Wonewoc, WI, Mitchell Knutson of Humbird, WI, and Arvin Calkin of Philadelphia, MS, and daughter, Connie (Jeffery Brown) Lowe of Golden, 22 grandchildren, 23great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and great grandson, who she raised, Payton Lowe.
She was preceded in death by her father, Howard McKinney, mother, Viva Johnson, children, Bruce Calkins, Merlene Young, Jerry Calkins, Jr., and Gary Knutson, and 2 grandsons, Donald Knutson, and Dustin Lowe.
Honorary pallbearers will be those who helped carry her during her illness.
