Samuel Roy Watkins Sr., 74 of Elkmont, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Athens Health and Rehab. Mr. Watkins was born April 14, 1946 to Kirby Watkins and Lillian Willis Watkins.
He is survived by his son, Samuel Roy Watkins Jr. (Carolee); daughter, Regina Fay Colwell (Jimbo); brothers, Bobby Watkins, John Watkins, Tony Watkins and Boss Watkins; sisters, Mabel Putman and Patricia Clunch; grandchildren, Samantha Thompson, Cody Watkins, Cade Watkins and Carter Watkins; great grandchild, Reese Thompson.
Graveside services for Mr. Watkins will be held on Monday, November 9, 2020 at Sylone Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. with Matt Taylor officiating. Visitation will be on Monday from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Jimbo Colwell, Cody Watkins, Carter Watkins, Cade Watkins, Martin Ezell and Troy Thompson.
