Samuel Ray Peoples, age 59, passed away Saturday Nov. 21, 2015, at Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence. He was an avid Alabama football fan and loved hunting and fishing.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015, at 2 p.m. in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Michael England will officiate. Burial will follow in Brasfield Cemetery in Burnwell. Visitation is Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Patsy Peoples, and his brother, Terry Peoples.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Peoples; children, Jason Peoples (Terri), Stephanie Johns (Daniel), Patrick Peoples (Elizabeth) and Melissa Stewart; grandchildren, Lainee, Peyton P., Lincoln, Slate, Knox, Cameron and Peyton S. Neely and Austin; sisters, Patsy Wood (Lee) and Sandra Peoples; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
