Samuel “Pete” Simpson, 84, died Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014. Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Wednesday at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The funeral will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with burial in Sheffield Oakwood Cemetery. He was the widower of Ethel Geneva Simpson.
