Samuel Marvin Edwards, Jr., 66, self-employed heating and air service and resident of Sunset Lane in Columbia, died Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Fayetteville Care & Rehabilitation Center in Fayetteville.
A graveside service will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 P.M. at Rose Hill Cemetery with Bobby Harmon officiating. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Directors are assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com.
Born November 4, 1951 in Maury County, he was the son of the late Samuel Marvin “Sammie” Edwards, Sr. and the late Barbara Hill Edwards.
Survivors include his children, Josh Edwards of Nashville, Erin Edwards and Kyle Edwards, both of Columbia; sister, Linda (Bobby) Harmon of Columbia; grandchild, Jacob Sprinkle; nephew, Ben (Kerri) Harmon of Cookeville; uncles, Harry Edwardsand Jim Hill; aunts, Martha Sparkman and Martha Lentz; and several cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Chris Sprinkle; and a brother, James Roy Edwards.
