F.9.21.24 Sanuel Williamson.jfif Samuel “Mark” Williamson, 43, of Westfield, Indiana passed away on September 16, 2024, surrounded by loving friends and family. Mark was born on January 22, 1981, in Birmingham, England to his adoring parents, Sam and Lisa (Milstead) Williamson.

Mark moved to New Orleans, Louisiana at eight months old and where he called home. He graduated from Faith Christian Academy in 1999 where he played several sports and sang in choir next to his lifelong best friend, Josh. Mark attended Harding University where he met his wife, Tracy. During his time at Harding, he was a part of Kappa Gamma Beta and Theta Psi Kappa Social Clubs who all made an impact in his life. His passion was football and loved being the Harding football equipment manager. Mark loved the Bisons but anyone that knew him knew the LSU Tigers and Saints were his true love and passion. If you did not catch football on our TV, you would always see WWE almost every night. The list is endless of his favorite wrestlers, but he loved the 80’s and 90’s wrestler’s the most.

Mark made life-changing impacts on everyone he came across; he knew no stranger. Marks other passions included Youth Ministry and mission work. He looked forward to going every summer to Honduras to work with Breaking Chains and serving God through his hands and his life. He spent numerous hours with the Youth Group he served. He will forever leave an impact on countless teenagers lives as he loved on each one of them and made them feel heard and a sense of belonging in the kingdom. Mark lived his Faith and Love Out Loud. He loved learning other people’s religions and their stories and gave the utmost respect for everyone he met.

Mark and Tracy were inseparable and married for 22 years. During that time, they had two beautiful children that Mark loved more than anything. Throughout his life, Mark was a dedicated and loving Father and Husband; and Loyal Friend and Brother to many over the years. Mark had an infectious smile that lit up the room, and all that spent time with him knew he loved keeping everyone laughing and entertained with stories. He always showed up for his people with no questions asked. He literally gave shoes off his feet to serve and help others. His love and presence are already missed.

Mark is survived by his loving wife, Tracy (Beaty) Williamson; daughter, Janeyaih; and son, Clayton of Westfield, Indiana. His parents, Samuel and Lisa (Milstead) Williamson of Westfield, Indiana. Grandmother, Julia Thornton Milstead and Aunt Leta Milstead of Florence, Alabama. His Father and Mother-In-Love, Dwight and Dawn Beaty of Hamilton County, Indiana; and Sister-In-Love, Trisha Beaty and Louis of Indianapolis, Indiana. And many cousins in England.

Preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert “Bob” Milstead, and uncle, Larry Milstead.

We are honoring Mark’s wishes and holding A Celebration of Life gathering at a future date, to include all of Mark’s friends and family near and far. Mark wanted a gathering with laughter, music, memories made, and stories shared.

In honor of Mark’s legacy of love and ministry, Memorial Contributions may be made to Go Fund Me to go toward Janeyaih and Clayton’s college fund or to Breaking Chains in Honduras as that held a special place in his life.
