Samuel Geery Young was born on November 23, 1951 in Haines City, Florida, the son of the late Cecil C. Young and Veneal Hubbard Gates.
He was united in marriage to Ann Young who preceded her husband in death.
Samuel worked in construction for the State of Florida.
Samuel departed this life on September 15, 2022 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 70 years, 9 months, and 23 days.
He is survived by his brother, Danny Young; sister, Barbara Devaul; and nieces and nephews, Adrian Young, Ashley Ditto, Jeff Koonce, Matthew Devaul, and Michaela Devaul.
