Samuel Eschol “Eck” Jackson age 81 of Lester, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Jackson was born October 11, 1933 in Limestone County, AL to Collin Jackson and Lorene Mewbourn Jackson.
Services will be Tuesday, March 17, 2015 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Hesters Chapel Cemetery.
Survived by one son, Sammy Jackson and Karan of Lester; two daughters, Marquita Chandler and Joey and Cindy Johnson and Mark both of Pulaski, TN; five grandchildren, Shawn Johnson, Seth Johnson, Jody Jackson and Carly, Jada Durden and Caleb, Micaela Chandler; six great-grandchildren, Emma Johnson, Justin Johnson, Ciana Johnson, Jaleigh Chandler, Kason and Karmyn Brooks and arriving in July, Gunner Durden; three sisters, Martha Sheppard and husband, Ed of Joelton, TN, Carolyn Gaston and husband, David and Marilyn Swanner and Shelton both of Decatur, AL.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Johnson, Seth Johnson, Jody Jackson, Caleb Durden, Chris Barnett, Joey Dickey, George and Junior. Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Stanford, Erin, Hosay, Wally Messer and Todd Mitchell.
