Samuel Earl Blackmon, Jr. was born on April 18, 1959 to Lovie Blackmon and the late Samuel Blackmon, Sr. . He departed this life on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at his home.
He began his formal education at the Jackson-Central Merry High School and completed his studies. He graduated with his class in 1977.
Accepting Christ as his Savior, he was baptized at the Lane Tabernacle C.M.E. Church.
He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents.
He leaves to cherish his memory his son: Sean Blackmon of Nashville, Tennessee; his mother: Lovie Blackmon of Jackson, Tennessee; siblings: Caroline (G-Wayne) Blackmon of Nashville, Tennessee; Michael Blackmon of Jackson, Tennessee and Gregory (Tiffany) Blackmon of Clarksville, Tennessee. A host of other relatives and friends.
