Samuel Douglas “Doug” Durham, age 68, of Florence, passed away August 7, 2023. A graveside service will be Thursday, at 11:00 a.m. at Greenview Memorial Gardens. Williams Funeral Home is assisting the family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Joyce Durham; sister, Melinda Durham; and brother, Randy Durham.
Doug is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Deborah Durham; daughter, Amanda Montgomery (Eric); grandson, Josh Richards (Nichole); granddaughter, Emily Richards; great-grandchildren, Ryder and Paxden Latham, Galexie and Axel Richards. Additional survivors include brothers, Mike Durham (CJ), and Denny Joe Durham, sister-in-law, Donna Durham, and special fur baby, Cricket.
Doug loved going fishing and watching Alabama football. He retired from autobody repair and auto parts delivery. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Serving as pallbearers are Eric Montgomery, David Durham, Phillip Davenport, Josh Richards, Shannon Durham and Jeff Davenport.
