Samuel Colton Embrey, 8, died Saturday, June 13, 2020 in Franklin County, AL. He was a student at Red Bay Elementary School and loved his hometown of Red Bay and the Red Bay Tigers. He loved to build Legos, riding his bike and hunting and fishing.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, June 17, 4 p.m. at Berry Cemetery, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Wayne Miller officiating. Burial will be in Berry Cemetery, Red Bay, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his mother – Michelle Barron, Red Bay, AL; his father – Jesse Dale Embrey, Red Bay, AL; brothers and sisters – Skylar Embrey, Annabel Embrey, Kimberly Barron, Hunter Embrey, Chinoah Embrey and Caanan Sai Embrey; his grandfather – Dale Embrey and his great-grandparents – Eulon and Faye Pruitt.
Pallbearers will be Jalen Vinson, Cameron McKinney, Hunter Burks, Braiden Holcombe, Joshua Savage and Landon Fell. Honorary pallbearers will be Kyser Jackson, Alex Kennedy, Nick Pounders and Brady Hardin.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 16, 5-8 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL and Wednesday, June 17, 3-4 p.m. at Berry Cemetery.
