Mr. Samuel Burgess, 75, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023.
Sam was preceded in death by his parents, Armstrong and Fannie Mae Burgess; brother, Mike Burgess; niece, Angie Sharpe; great-niece, Taryn Sharpe; great-nephew, Cody Hensen; and brother-in-law, Ken Sharpe.
Left to cherish Sam’s memory include his siblings, Mary Sharpe and Wayne Burgess; sister-in-law, Landis Burgess; aunt, Yvonne Burgess, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
The family of Mr. Burgess would like to extend a great thank you to the nurses and caregivers at Cordova Health and Rehab for the wonderful love and care they gave to Sam.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00a.m., Thursday, May 11, 2023 at West Jefferson Free Will Cemetery.
