Samuel Barnes III, 78, Tuscumbia, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 16, at Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield, beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Troy Tannehill officiating.
Samuel served in the US Army National Guard and was a member of IBEW 558.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Barnes; children, Shane Barnes, Shelby Barnes, and Shannon Trousdale; grandchildren, Austin Barnes, Braden Barnes, Abby Barnes, Erin Barnes, Zoe Trousdale, and Ashley Trousdale; and great-grandchildren, Josie Barnes, and Buckley Michael.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
