Sammy Lee Williams, 76, of Fort Payne passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2024. He was born in DeKalb County, Alabama on August 5, 1948, to the late George Lee Williams and Dovie Lorene Scott Williams. He was a welder by trade.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 4 until 8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Fort Payne.
He is survived by his children Rusty Williams and wife Traci, Alisa Mosely and husband Mike, and Samantha Williams; sisters Faye Poe, Joan Johnson, and Peggy Wilburn; grandchildren Dakota Williams, Jamison Griffin, Summer Williams, and Colton Floyd; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Imogene King, Edward Williams, Ronald Williams, Mildred Smalley, Edith Dixson, and Janice Williams.
Wilson Funeral Home and Crematory of Fort Payne is in charge of arrangements.
