Mrs. Sally Terry Townsend, age 89, of Columbia, Tennessee, died Monday, November 6th, 2023, at Maury Regional Hospital.
She was born August 8th, 1934, in Moundville, Alabama, to the late Florence McGill. She was a homemaker and attended the Berlin Methodist Church.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny C. Townsend, and four brothers.
She is survived by one daughter, Roxanne (Ricky) Worthy of Columbia, one son, Terry (Lea) Townsend of Pompano Beach, FL, three grandchildren, Lucas Worthy, Logan Worthy, and Chelsea Townsend, one great grandchild, Aerolynn Worthy, two sisters in law, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, November 12th, 2023, at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of London Funeral Home 324 West Church Street Lewisburg, Tennessee 37091 with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will also begin on Sunday at London Funeral Home from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour.
