Sally M. Nesbitt, age 79, of Sheffield, passed away Monday, August 29, 2016. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 31, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be Thursday, at 11:00 a.m., at Annapolis Avenue Church of Christ. Interment will follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Nesbitt was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie Dozier Moseley and Bethel Leland Moseley; husband, Arthur M. Nesbitt Jr.; son, Randall Glen “Randy” Nesbitt; granddaughter, Stephanie Rae Nesbitt; and brother, John Charles “Charlie” Moseley.
Survivors include son, Phillip M. “Dinky” Nesbitt and wife Jane Huddleston Nesbitt; daughter-in-law, Susan Fisher Nesbitt; sister, Rebecca Moseley “Chick” Ellett; grandchildren, Baylee Nesbitt Mixon and husband Brian Mixon, Emilee Nesbitt, and Joesph C. “Joe” Huddleston; and great grandchildren, Caleb and Caden Carmack, and Kaylee Qualls.
Friends of the family will serve as pallbearers.
