Sally June Vanderford Profile Photo Funeral services for Sally June Vanderford, 87, of Corinth are set for Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 11:30am at Magnolia Funeral Home – East with interment to follow in Corinth National Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 26, 2023 from 5pm-8pm and Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 10:30am until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – EAST. Dr. Randy Bostick will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Garrett Whitehurst, Eric Hartfelder, Josh Farris, Steve Morelock, Mike Whitehurst, Clark Hartfelder and Roger Maidment. Born June 9, 1936 in Manhattan, Kansas, Sally passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at Landmark Nursing Home in Booneville, MS. She was a retired retail sales clerk and a member of Oakland Baptist Church. Sally loved her family and friends especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, who fondly called her “GaGa”. She enjoyed traveling, playing golf and going on vacations with her family. Those left to cherish Sally’s memory include her daughters, Gerri Rossi (Keith), Tracy Whitehurst (Mike) and Dana Morelock (Steve); 3 grandchildren, Ashley Hartfelder (Eric), Garrett Whitehurst (Jade) and Alex Farris (Josh); 6 great grandchildren, Clark Hartfelder, Wells Hartfelder, Owen Whitehurst, Waverly Whitehurst , Wren Whitehurst (due in August) and Ryder Farris; brother, Bob Haug (Carol Lane); sister, Viola Bush (Chuck); nieces and nephew, Angela Maidment, Roger Maidment and Tracy Lynn Sisson (Jim); other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, A. L. “Stubby” Wrisinger; father, Charlie Haug; mother, Hazel Johnson Haug and brother, Francis Haug. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Sally “GaGa” June Vanderford.
