Sally Elizabeth Kiestler passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at the age of 69 years. She was born on May 19, 1954, in Edmonton Alberta, Canada, to the late William and Norma Geer.
Sally’s life was marked by love and dedication. On May 19, 2001, she married James Kiestler and they shared many cherished moments together. Sally had a compassionate heart and committed numerous years as a volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House in Memphis, Tennessee.
Throughout her career, Sally worked diligently for Union Planter’s Bank in Memphis, Wal-mart in Selmer, and also served as a substitute teacher at Ramer School and McNairy Central High School. Her passion for learning and history led her to obtain a Bachelor of Science in History from Memphis State University.
In her leisure time, Sally found joy in crocheting beautiful creations and immersing herself in the pages of books. Her love for the past fueled her fascination with history.
Sally leaves behind a profound and lasting legacy. She is survived by her devoted husband, James Kiestler of Ramer, TN. Additionally, she is fondly remembered by her step-daughter Ashley Kiestler and boyfriend Johnathan Patterson of Stantonville, TN; step-sons Chris Kiestler and wife Lorie of Ramer TN; Travis Kiestler and girlfriend Jorden Elder of Selmer TN. She will forever be cherished in the hearts of her seven grandchildren: Addison Kiestler, Kinsley Kiestler, Brooklynn Patterson, Paisley Patterson, Jacob Kiestler, Nova Keistler, and Everleigh Kiestler.
Sally Elizabeth Kiestler will be dearly missed by her family and friends who were touched by her kindness, dedication, and warm spirit. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
